Background

Bernhard "Bernie" Yutesler grew up in Northern Colorado. He graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in music education. After joining the US Army, he was assigned to the 76th Army Band, 101st Airborne Division Band and the US Army School of Music. Bernie is currently assigned to The US Army Field Band at Fort Meade Maryland where he is the  supply supervisor. He has been playing with the bell choir at Oakland Presbyterian Church since 2006.

Bernie and his wife Allison were married in 2013 and live in Columbia, Maryland. In July of 2018 they adopted and brought home their daughter, Zoey Bom!
