Oaklands Presbyterian Church gathers every Sunday to learn and grow in our faith. We are apart of the Presbyterian Church (USA) which means we belong to the oldest and largest of the Presbyterian denominations. Some have described us as “a thinking person’s church.” We move forward in the creative tension that Jesus Christ is Lord and reveals his will for our lives through our dialogue with the Bible and each other.

Youth and Education
Oaklands Presbyterian Church believes that our faith is constantly being formed and reformed. While, at this time, we do not have a formal “Christian Education” program, we encourage and welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to join us in worship and fellowship. We continue to learn and grow together, as we learn one another’s experiences and dive deeper into the Word together.
Children are always welcome in the sanctuary, AND we know that sometimes parents need a few focused moments to truly worship God. To help, Oaklands offers a nursery for children ages newborn to 5 years which is staffed by our Nursery Attendant.
Outreach
Oaklands Presbyterian Church is compelled by our call in Micah 6:8 to walk humbly, do justice, and love our neighbors, community, and God with our whole heart.
We have but one Savior in the world, and we are not it! AND we still believe we are called to serve where ever God calls us!
We are committed to being a radically welcoming and inclusive church. Our doors are open to you where ever you are on life’s journey, and through whatever experiences you have gone or will go through.
